The Soestdijk Palace

The Soestdijk Palace is situated in Baarn. It used to be the royal residence for former Queen Juliana (1909-2004) and her husband Prince Bernard (1911-2004). This palace is now open for public.

Tickets
 
Tickets are sold via the website only. You have to make reservations to visit Soestdijk. Buying a ticket at the entrance is not possible. This reservation part of the Soestdijk website is in Dutch only. You can pay with Visa, MasterCard or IDEAL.

Tickets cost € 12.50 for adults and € 10.00 for children.
These prices include a tour in the royal park as well.

No reservations are necessary for a walk in the royal park.
You can pay at the entrance of the palace. 

Entrance fees: € 5.00 for adults. € 2.00 for children.

Opening hours
 
Tuesdays to Sundays from 09:15 until 17:30 hours. 
On Monday Soestdijk is closed for visits.

Keep in mind: the first tour starts at 09:30 hours. 
Final park entrance of the day is at 15:15 hours. 


The Royal Palace

This palace was build in 1648 as a city hall for Amsterdam. Now the palace is used by Queen Beatrix for official functions like State Visits. On other days, the palace is open for public. The palace has a English website.

Huis ten Bosch Palace
 

This palace is the Queen’s home since 1981. Huis ten Bosch is located in the north-eastern part of The Hague. The State has placed Huis ten Bosch Palace at the Queen’s disposal by Act of Parliament. It’s not possible to visit Huis ten Bosch. However, there is a virtual tour on the website of the Dutch Royal House

Het Loo Palace

Het Loo Palace is a museum in which you can see items from the Royal Collection and the Royal Archives. A complete tour of the palace and its gardens takes about 3 hours. Every year Het Loo Palace has about 400,000 visitors.

On the grounds of Het Loo Palace Het Loo House is also situated. This is the home of Princess Margriet and her husband, Pieter van Vollenhoven.
